Paid Ads Manager

Salary: £35,000

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape an outstanding Search Advertising service by working with us to develop and refine processes for the agency, making them your own.

Your primary role is to create and manage high-performing PPC campaigns across multiple platforms, driving measurable results for our clients. You will have a deep understanding of paid search strategies, bid management, ad copy optimisation, and audience targeting while staying up to date with the latest industry trends.

Responsibilities:­

  • Develop and execute successful PPC strategies across platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and social media advertising networks.

  • Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and competitive analysis to optimise campaign performance.

  • Monitor and optimise ad performance through bid adjustments, A/B testing, and ongoing campaign refinements.

  • Manage campaign budgets effectively to maximise ROI.

  • Work closely with SEO, content marketing, and social media teams to ensure holistic digital marketing strategies.

  • Create and present performance reports to clients, providing clear insights and recommendations.

  • Manage and prioritise work across multiple clients and industries.

  • Keep up to date with the latest trends, updates, and innovations in paid media.

  • Support other digital marketing activities where required.

  • Work with the sales team to develop PPC proposals and audits.

Core skills and experience

  • Proven experience as a PPC Specialist or Paid Media Manager with a track record of successful campaigns.

  • Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Google Grant, Microsoft Ads, and paid social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).

  • Experience with bid management tools and automation strategies.

  • Ability to create reports, analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other performance tracking tools.

  • Strong copywriting and ad creative skills for compelling ad copy.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and internal teams.

  • Experience in conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and landing page testing.

Desirable skills

Any or all of the following skills and experience would be beneficial to this role

  • Experience with Google Shopping and eCommerce PPC strategies.

  • Knowledge of programmatic advertising and display networks.

  • Understanding of SEO and how it integrates with paid strategies.

  • Familiarity with AI-driven PPC tools and automation.

  • Knowledge of attribution models and customer journey mapping.

  • Experience in PR and communications.

  • Experience in working in an agency setting.

  • Hold Google Ads Certifications in Search, Shopping, or Measurement.
