Helping Alpha Furniture improve their ranking and user experience


We developed a digital strategy for retailer Alpha Furniture. This began with restoring their SEO rankings before implementing a programme of changes to improve the user journey and purchasing experience on the website.

Case Study - Alpha Furniture

The brief

Alpha Furniture enlivens community spaces, such as churches and village halls, with a range of products, including chairs, tables and lecterns. When they experienced a drop in visits to their website, they approached Cyberlogical for support. SEO was identified as the most urgent priority.  

Search engine optimisation

After running a comprehensive audit of the retailer’s website, we discovered that they were no longer ranking highly on Google for their core products. Using our SEO expertise, we were able to restore them to their original search results position.

Alpha Furniture now ranks #1 for church chairs and is in the top 3 for over 30 other relevant furniture terms.  

Paid Advertising

We then revitalised their paid advertising on Google so that the retailer could reach and convert new audiences. This included adjustments to Google Analytics to ensure that tracking was fully optimised. We also introduced some of Alpha Furniture’s best performing product lines to Merchant Centre and Google Shopping.  

Improving user experience

We recognised that Alpha Furniture is not a typical furniture retailer, and for their specific target audience (largely committees), purchases are often a big investment. With this in mind, we devised a step-by-step plan to redesign the website’s navigation, improve the product page content, improve the speed of the website and deploy bug fixes.
